Students at The Global College have had a busy time in recent weeks with renowned universities from both the United States and Europe visiting to showcase their exceptional undergraduate programs. Such visits allow for our students to gain valuable insights into the myriad of options available to them for their higher education journeys.
Among the institutions that graced our campus with their presence were some of the most esteemed names in the academic world. Babson College, renowned as the top institution for entrepreneurship, as recognised by the esteemed US News rankings, took centre stage. Their representatives not only shed light on their dynamic programs but also provided invaluable guidance on nurturing entrepreneurial spirits.
The University of Notre Dame, with its rich history and commitment to excellence, offered a glimpse into the possibilities that await students seeking a top-notch education. Meanwhile, the Stockholm School of Economics brought a touch of European academic prestige, showcasing the international perspectives and opportunities that students can explore.
Washington University in St. Louis, Tufts University, Boston University, University of Miami, and the University of Denver were also part of this illustrious lineup, each offering a unique blend of academic rigour, diverse opportunities, and vibrant campus life. These institutions opened the doors to a world of possibilities, encouraging students to think globally and consider a wide range of fields and majors.
For our IBDP 2 students, this event couldn’t have come at a better time. As they embark on the pivotal journey of college applications, the insights gained from these universities will undoubtedly play a crucial role in shaping their decisions and crafting compelling applications.
On the other hand, our IBDP 1 students had the privilege of gaining early exposure to the exciting realm of higher education. They had the opportunity to explore potential paths for their academic future, laying the foundation for informed decisions. This early introduction to the world of higher education serves as a valuable stepping stone on their academic journeys.
