Search in the global college library and beyond

The library provides to The Global College Community the best digital learning tools to develop their skills, based on a highly technological identity and with a strong commitment to Sustainability and Liquid Learning.

Our library is part of OCLC, a not-for-profit cooperative organization that reinvests its income in research, programs and library product development. OCLC is dedicated to promoting global information access and reducing information costs and provides all types of information systems to thousand of libraries and cultural institutions in more than 100 countries around the world.

The User Portal is your own virtual library space, you can access it with your TGC credentials (e-mail and password). Here you can check your on-loan items and return dates; renew your loans and check how many renewals you have left; place and cancel holds; check for outstanding fines; check and receive your interlibrary loan requests of electronic resources; search The Global College catalog and WorldCat—the world’s largest library catalog.

WorldCat provides immediate access to an extensive bibliographic database, used by libraries and users as the basis for many functions: cataloguing, interlibrary loan, union listing of serials and other holdings, collection evaluation and digital archiving. WorldCat Discovery is a cloud-based application that helps people easily find resources available in their library and in libraries around the world through a single search.

WMS is used for its management, a complete cloud-based library management system that supports our strategic priorities with actionable data and an experience designed with users in mind.

You can consult the Global College Library use conditions here.
