Students from The Global College won two of the top prizes at the Model United Nations, held in Madrid.
The newly formed delegation impressed judges at the conference with their outstanding presentation skills and speeches, not only successfully passing a resolution but also being awarded two prizes along the way.
Congratulations to the TGC delegation, which included A. Ramos, J.Beijnsberger, JJ. Bestene, L. Carbajo, C.Giménez, D.González, and S.Gutiérrez.
Our newly formed Debate Club has also been active and held a school-wide debate titled “This house would cancel Andrew Tate”, based on the controversial influencer. Students were assigned opposite viewpoints to defend.
As well as providing a high-quality education following the IB curriculum, our focus is ensuring students are equipped with the skills to succeed at university and beyond. The Debate Club is a wonderful opportunity for students to develop communication skills, know how to present to an audience, and speak confidently about their subject areas.
