Our IB Film and Video Editing Club students had the incredible opportunity to delve into the world of real-life film production during an exciting visit to Shine Iberia TV, one of the most successful production companies in the industry! Hosted by the company’s CEO, Macarena Rey, the students embarked on a thrilling journey that provided them with a firsthand experience of the inner workings of a renowned TV production company.
The highlight of their visit was undoubtedly the chance to explore the set of the acclaimed MASTERCHEF CELEBRITY series. As they stepped onto these iconic filming sets, the students were immediately immersed in the captivating atmosphere of a bustling production. They witnessed the magic of bringing a popular television show to life and were enthralled by the meticulous attention to detail and the efforts put in by the production team to create an authentic and engaging experience for the audience.

As part of the visit, the students also had the privilege of witnessing the filming process of the upcoming show HAIRSTYLE, which is set to go live in October. Observing the production crew in action, they gained a profound appreciation for the collaborative efforts required to create a successful TV show. Witnessing the coordination between the director, camera operators, sound technicians, and the talent on set, the students realised the intricacies involved in capturing the perfect shot and the importance of seamless teamwork.
