Students from The Global College secured an incredible victory at the Datathon Challenge, organised by IE University in collaboration with EDP Renewables, the fourth-largest renewable energy company in the world. This prestigious competition brought together 25 teams of high school students from across the region, all competing in STEM-focused challenges.
The Global College entered two teams, reflecting our status as one of Europe’s leading IB schools with a large cohort of computer science students. Both teams excelled, achieving first and second place!
The winning team, comprised of Alexey C., Joaquín A., Nicolás A., Victor K., and Italo G., showcased exceptional skills and teamwork to claim the top spot. Their innovative approach and commitment to problem-solving truly stood out in this high-calibre competition.
