The Global College has been accepted as a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS).
The CIS is a community of 1450 schools and universities in 121 countries across the world that work together to inspire the development of global citizens through high quality international education. This is done by connecting ideas, cultures, and educators from every corner of the world.
After applying for membership, TGC had to undergo a process of evaluation from CIS. In the final report accepting the college as a new member, it said:
“The Global College has a clear and aspirational vision and while only in its first year there is a sense that staff have already found their rhythm as a team with a keen focus on the students and delivering on the school’s mission.
“The students, who are all new to the school, are able to compare their previous and varied school experiences and were in complete agreement that it was the best school they had ever attended. They can already talk about the positive impact that the school experience is having on them and how they are changing as learners and members of society. They describe their teachers as well qualified, motivated, and inspiring.”
Congratulations to all staff and students for all their hard work and effort as we prepared for membership of CIS. A fantastic achievement in just our first year since opening.
