In March, eight keen TGC Biology students competed in the British Biology Olympiad 2023, an advanced problem-solving competition organised annually by the Royal Society of Biology, and the entry point for the International Biology Olympiad.
Over 10,000 students from more than 700 international schools are taking part, so the competition is fierce.
Our team found the questions hard but stimulating, and relished the opportunity to test their knowledge on a wide range of topics which required a great deal of brain-power.
Congratulations to Jinte for winning a Bronze Medal, Hugo a Commendation, and all participating students Pía, Sofía, Ignacio, Filipe, Enzo and Maia. They are all eligible to receive free Royal Society of Biology BioNet membership for one year.
