The Global College is thrilled to announce the outstanding achievement of our students in the F1 in Schools competition. Team VeloTech, composed of Juan M, Ingrid S, Julia U, Daniel G, Luca A, and Yago M, secured an impressive second-place finish in this prestigious international challenge.
Over eight months, the team dedicated countless hours to designing, manufacturing, and testing their miniature Formula 1 car. Utilising advanced CAD and CAM software, they crafted a high-performance vehicle capable of reaching incredible speeds on the 25-meter race track.
Team VeloTech’s exceptional performance was recognised with multiple awards, including Best Design and Innovation, Fastest Car, and Best Verbal Presentation. Their success highlights the team’s dedication, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
The F1 in Schools competition is more than just building a fast car; it encompasses a range of skills including finance, marketing, and sustainability. Team VeloTech excelled in all aspects, demonstrating the comprehensive skill set developed through their participation.
