European Youth Parliament ConferenceThree IBDP2 students from The Global College, Luisa, Adrián, and Daria, recently showcased their exceptional debating skills at the National Spain Conference of the European Youth Parliament (EYP) 2024. The event, held over six days in Valencia, brought together 149 young delegates from across Spain to discuss pressing issues facing Europe today.

Founded in 1987, the EYP promotes youth engagement, intercultural understanding, and critical thinking on topics that matter to the continent’s future. The students debated topics ranging from greenwashing and worker protection laws to advancing technology sectors and finding sustainable transport solutions.

In an outstanding achievement, all three students placed highly in the delegate rankings. Luisa earned an impressive 4th place, Adrián was ranked 19th, and Daria secured 24th, standing out among a competitive group of delegates.

Their success reflects the hard work, dedication, and intellectual curiosity fostered at The Global College, and the experience has equipped them with invaluable skills for future challenges.
