The Global College buzzed with excitement on 25th May as the Class of 2024 donned their caps and gowns for their long-awaited graduation ceremony. After two years of academic challenges, personal growth, and unforgettable experiences, it was a time to celebrate their accomplishments and look forward to the exciting futures that lie ahead.
The ceremony, entirely student-focused and student-led, reflected the spirit of The Global College experience. Maia and Nicolás served as the Masters of Ceremony, guiding the event with aplomb. Martina’s powerful rendition of “The Climb” brought the audience to its feet, while Olivia’s hilarious video parody, inspired by “The Office,” perfectly captured the essence of student life.
Heartfelt speeches from the Heads of School, Sofia Broggini and Oliver Fletcher, acknowledged the students’ dedication and the significant growth they’d achieved throughout their IB journey. A special shout-out went to the DP1 student ambassadors who flawlessly managed the event, showcasing the collaborative spirit fostered at The Global College.
As diplomas were conferred, the Class of 2024 erupted in cheers, marking a significant milestone in their lives. The Global College community congratulates them on their well-deserved success and wishes them the very best in their future endeavours!
